I don't know what to do. This chick who I’m crazy in love with is in situationship with someone she doesn’t want to be with at all, hasn’t helped her out with any responsibilities or bills, goes out with his friends and gets drunk, yells at her for stupid stuff, 10 years younger than her. They had a kid together but it’s just made problems worse for her. Me and her have been reconnecting recently and expressed our feelings to each other. She could easily kick him and that would solve a lot of problems. But the problem is he’s recovering from kemo; so she feels guilty and trapped. She’s one of a kind and we match so well together. Part of me is like move on from her & find someone new but the other part of me wants to stay & fight for her. I don't know what to do

Where’s the other part that wonders how she could go behind her man’s back to talk to another, flirt with another, and why you’d be above it? What you always have to remember is that you’re only getting one side, with zero evidence other than her words. The situation is far more nuanced than you know or that she would ever allow you to find out. No matter what the case may be between them though, his chemo isn’t going anywhere, neither is their kid or how it all allegedly makes her feel trapped. You can’t rescue her without her being unfaithful to her partner and that is no way to obtain someone. So while it’s too bad that she can’t find the will to walk away, you just shouldn’t wait around for that time to come, if it ever does.

Love doesn't require a response. If you think it does, it isn't love. Yes you can love someone you are never going to have sex with. That requires some maturity, but many people have that maturity.
