So I am friends with an ex I'm still in love with. He doesn't want to be with me anymore and I don't know how to accept that. I want to still be friends with him but I also want more than friendship.

How do I learn how to just be his friend again? We were friends for a very long time before we got together and I want to get back to that but I don't know how with my feelings for him still present.

Why do you want to be friends with an ex.

1. If you re-unite (not my recommendation,) you will quickly remember why you broke up. If it didn't work the first time, it won't wor the second time around.

2. Want to move forward with someone else. For many of us guys, a girl who still sees her ex. . . that's a deal breaker, end of story right there.

3. If you do. . . somehow, against all odds. . . remain together as friends, do you want him to tell you when he spends th night wth his new girl? Do you want to hear how hot she is in bed? Do you want to be invited to their wedding?

1. I think we can get pass that eventually.

2. He will have to be one hell of a guy who understands that my ex is just that an ex who just so happens to be my friend. I'm sure there is at least one guy out there that will be understanding.

3. Will be the hardest thing to get pass but I think I can do it.

I just don't want to lose him as a friend. We were friends for almost 10 years. That's a lot of time to just throw away.
