What’s a profession that’s harder to date then it looks?

I don’t think profession defines that aspect of a person even though native working pattern of that profession lends itself being perceived as more obtuse.


I think it’s more about a individuals personal relationship with their career , profession or just they work they do to pay for that which they need and how challenging it may be for the other person to accommodate that or how much it fits round their perception of what a relationship “should” be etc


Example , I used to work rotational shifts and long shifts , and could go weeks without having time to ‘accommodate’ the “wishes” of my girlfriend at the time who worked fairly standard office hours due to her other “chosen” commitments.


It’s not profession really , it’s more perception , expectation and what people “want” in my opinion

Military. Constant moves. No roots. Long periods apart with limited communication or even silence. Coming home in a body bag or missing both legs. Maybe bringing home PTSD. And no one ever joined the military to get rich. It's a life most people get blindsided by.

Probably an attorney or doctor or nurse. All of them work long hours. Can't forget cops and firefighters as well. They have intense schedules as well. I would know because my mom and sister are nurses and my best friend is a police officer. Police officers especially don't have it easy because even if they work a regular shift, they often get called in for various reasons dealing with police cases.

Anyone in healthcare. I know people in that line of work that are working double 8-hour shifts, 5 and 6 days a week. They are never home.

So that’s I think where the nurses and doctor stereotypes come from. Are they all cheaters? No absolutely not.

But what happens with scheduling is that number one is opportunity many people out there WOULD cheat if the opportunity was there. That’s sad but it’s how a lot of people are. As well as the fact of being less and less around your spouse. Meaning intmancy and just having that connection could be in jeopardy if both partners aren’t mature enough to be there for one another how they can.

Some people start seeking connection from others especially with trauma with people who more understand that trauma. Besides their wife or husband who isn’t in the medical field.

I would say maid becuase maid work shitty hours on different site and we only stay between 1 or 2 hours on each site that are usually vacant of anybody or people just ignore yo completely and the crazy hours is annoying and make it hard to do anything for example I worked from 6 am to 8 pm but only actually 8 hours a day it was just that the hours were put when people did not work so it make it impossible to do anything, can't go out at night cause tired and have to wake up at 5 am, can't go to restaurant at lunch time cause I'm working, and can't do anything in the afternoon cause I'm working or on commute.

It just make it impossible to date or very hard also in those jobs you work nearly everyday I worker 6 day a weeks and they're always calling to either give us more jobs or changing our hours all the time. Can't plane anything.

For me it would be a female gym influencer. Her entire career revolves around using her body to market her results. That's not something a lot of guys think about. At least not compared to dating a stripper, where the risk is more in your face.

But they often become too adjusted, and see nothing but fault in everyone else
