It really depends on who you are, where you are, and what your skill set is.

I mean I remember when I was fresh with an accounting degree in San Diego... and the job placement people could only find me work as a fucking salesman at a particular even because of my Japanese speaking. I think it would be a lot different if I was in Rhode Island or somewhere that doesn't require Spanish.

Now I know some internet lawyer and know-it-all is going to bitch at me about bla bla bla and this and that, but they can go suck a dick because they weren't young me that had no clue about all the "should-of-done's" and whatnot so get over yourselves internet lawyers and know-it-alls.

I'm just saying I was in the wrong place to get that sort of job. I moved on and never used that degree... talk about pointless time spent. No debt for it though because it was all GI Bill paid after years of military service. I strongly believe if I was a bit more brown and spoke Spanish, I would've landed a job pretty fast in that place.

It's always pretty easy to find a job, often hard to find a good-paying job that one wants and us qualified to do.

I'm a nurse and its easy as hell for me to find a job.

there aren't enough nurses. Advances in medicine are keeping so many sick people alive. People are sicker than ever before but they're not dying.

Home health aides or techs would never be legally allowed to do the job of a nurse which is why I get so much job security.

Another thing is barrier to entry, a lot of people who would make wonderful nurses can't become nurses. Either due to lack of academic skill, IQ, money to attend college.

I wouldn't say I love my job but I definitely love the job security and all the options I get.

Nursing is probably one of the only fields where your boss can absolutely hate you but yet can never afford to fire you.

I would say USA. But it really depends on where you work in USA.

As a nurse, I will not advise you on getting into nursing just for purcahshing power. Because you will end up hating your life VERY MUCH and you will not be a good nurse- people will eventually be able to see this. It takes a very kind, caring, attentive person to actually be happy in this type of work. Nursing school in USA is extremely difficult too. Not only getting through nursing school but trying to get accepted into a school is hard.

If you want a lot of money, go into developing AI, go into trade work.

I was studying computer engineeering but i changed my major. Because i wanted to help people, thats my major motivation. I live in Turkey but i want to immigrate. And if i will immigrate then i have to be able to build a life for myself. I dont want a lot of money. Just enough money to not think about money😊

you can help people in many different ways, not just nursing. There is social work, therapy, firefighting, working for a non-profit organization.

Just make sure that you understand what nursing is like before you get into it.

I loved helping people too, am a kind caring person. But I didn't end up liking nursing. I wished I had done something else

Understaffing, too much responsibility, high chance of error, being blamed for everything, being disrespected by doctors or patients, the pay isn't enough for the overwhelming responsibility. Having to take care of patients emotionally even when they are more privileged, loved, treated better than I would ever be.

Nursing is the only profession where you spend all your energy changing everyone's bedsheets and bathing all your patients then you go home so exhausted that you dont have the energy to bathe or change your own bedsheets at home

Nursing is a very high stakes job where you cannot make mistakes. Mistakes can cause you to lose your license. You are dealing with human lives. Its not a fun or easy job
