Because of covid lots of economies have gone down. But hopefully there's a miracle soon enough

Not all the companies have enough money to pay more employees, others are laying off their workers. Also, exist many people who are looking for jobs and people who were fired are looking too. So, the market isn't enough for the number of people who are looking for a job.
And if you just go out of university is harder because many of the companies want someone with more experience or if they want you to work, they want to pay you less than a normal wage (for your lack of experience).

Depends on your qualifications/experience. I was just hired on the spot for a job that's decent paid (21.50/hr) last week. It's not a you-need-a-degree job either.
