But she’s also a couple of years older and the last time I did that she was in a rush to get married and have kids

If you meet anyone who is over 25 years old and wants to date an 18 yr old. It is a BIG red flag. It takes a certain level of immaturity to want to date an 18 yr old. A lot of old men prey on 18 yr olds for sex too. They call it dating.

The one issue I'd take n9te of is if the dude is rich. Then that is worry, there's a whole new personality that comes with that much power. If they are poor and average they typically are more balanced individuals thus more chances it was real sparks. If you are gonna generalize make it make sense. I still agree 18 is out of question unless dating could keep things casual but I highly doubt dating means no sex for most so its not the best look. 25 is ideal but also people can mature differently than majority based on life experience and growing up fast so yes there can be exceptions

I would say that after 25, age matters less. It would be still safe for a 35 yr old to be dating a 25 yr old.
