Well there's your problem. Not only is that an incredibly dangerous thing to do regarding STDs and pregnancy, but it also generates jealously and ruins the dating pool for other people.

Your open "marriage" isn't logical at all, nor practical.
Monogamy and love is logical and practical, as its safer, longer lasting, and creates a stronger bond and is thus more reliable.

What you are doing is horribly inconvenient and will eventually bite you, her, and others in the ass.

Probably.. Opening a marriage is really detrimental to a marriage and maybe she realizes that opening it is a means to an end. So maybe she is having second thoughts about the idea and wants to close it and work on things between you both.
