I mean, there were some guys who shared name with my brothers and when I found out I kept a fair distance from them as they seem quite interested in me but I didn't want to as I would feel too awkward to say his name because everytime I'd say his name, I'd think about my brothers.

I'm sure some of them might be have been great guys but imagining myself being on a date with one of them and saying his name suddenly makes me think of my brothers would make me never want to ever kiss that guy.

Having said that, if it doesn't bother you or your girlfriend. I wouldn't think it's weird.
