How Common Are Dates In Your Country?

as in proper dating. like going to movies or eating out. without the prospect of hookup lol. i might be wrong but in modern age, everybody expects to get laid. kiss on the cheek seems inadequate you have the standard procedure. download Tinder or Hinge or whatever. look for somebody cute and available. text them. have a fun evening. spend the night at their place. in the morning, leave and block.  again, i might be wrong and such things that i have come across might be overly exaggerated... which brings us to the one million dollar question : do people date at all these days? PS. I have nothing against hook-up culture. I just don't want to do it with every single person I talk to or find attractive.

I've done it once. My other exs was more just do you want to be with me, yes, okay we are.

Thy date was a simply go to cinema, she wanted to see the film it was bad neighbours 2. I hadn't seen 1st but it was a decent looking comedy film helped by chloe grace mortez been in it.

So in my experience not common. But who knows what normal people do.

Not nearly as common as they were ten or even five, years ago. You've got the gender wars, the loneliness epidemic, the Left's ongoing campaign to emasculate boys in grade school, etc. You can still do it, but it's nowhere near what it used to be, that's for sure.

In my country it has to be "agreed" before date. Like if couple is getting to know each other or is in boyfriend/girlfriend phase, then it's super common, but if you got to know someone on a dating app and they made it clear they want just fun then it's very less likely to finish date without hookup

Pretty sure it happens fairly often in the US, though it really depends who you're around. Hook-up culture is more of a thing with some people than others.

You’ve raised such a real and important point. It does feel like a lot of modern dating skips straight to the hookup part, like there’s this unspoken expectation. I don’t think you’re wrong, hookup culture is super visible now, especially with dating apps and social media. But I also believe and know there are still people out there who genuinely want to get to know someone first talk, go on dates, take things slow.
