Tips for dating an American woman?

Just wondering as I'm not too practical of how things work in America, but I assume they are largely similar to how they are in Europe - dress fashionably, pick some fun activities and be engaging. Is there something else?

There's this woman I meet at the NGO who offered/accepted to friendly dates, but since I'm still not that practical of the area she proposed to pick up the places.

Mostly I'm concerned to not fill the stereotype of the funny foreigner, since someone already joked I talk similar to Tony Soprano.

To tell the truth American women are easier to date compared to Europeans


I’ve never been state side but on the 3 occasions I had interactions with Americans expats here France we ended up in the sheets not long after. One of them I even dated for a while


You see American culture is very self centered.
It’s “take take take” attitude.
Some people think that makes them bad people, it doesn’t necessarily
In fact I find it makes them less likely to change their minds with the blowing of the wind.


At least with the ones I met I always knew where I stood


As for attracting them it’s easy:
You just need to present yourself as an attractive package and let her natural instinct to take what she wants active on you.


The mistake many men, even American men, do is trying to “convince the girl” to date them


You shouldn’t so that.
Just demonstrate your best image (inside and outside) and she will eager to see you at which point whatever suggestion you make about getting together will work

My perspective as a British person is that they mostly just wanted me so they could make me say things like "squirrel". I don't know why me saying "squirrel" turned them on, but apparently that is how it works.
I don't think they realised that treating my accent like a circus side-show had exactly the opposite effect on me.
Basically... forget Americans.
