What are some tips for dating an American girl?

Not for me obviously, but for a friend of mine who took a liking in an American girl who lives in our country. He thinks there's some sort of cultural difference and he fears he might make a wrong move.

In my opinion he worries too much, she's been living in our country for years, speaks our language and I think she has citizenship too, so she's not exactly a foreigner. And even if she just came from the US, I think we have more in common than different and overall the general etiquette and likes/dislikes of European women are pretty similar to those of Americans.

My wife liven in China until she was 29 years old, and then she came to the US. She has been here for 32 years. She has her American citizenship but every thing about her is Chinese. Her sense of humor is vastly different. The way that she maintains our relationship is different (e. g., it is more difficult to get her to discuss a potential problem between us.)

I don't know Italian culture but I assume that the difference go far beyond pasta. Yes, similarities are always obvious but the differences may not become apparent until there is a problem. Tell your friend to ask her to promise to talk to him if he does something that bothers her, as it is probably a cultural misunderstanding.

You don’t. Too many of them are materialistic. Especially these days, women having access to all kinds of socks media so other men hitting them up so their heads get inflated thinking they can have any man they want. If you still insist on doing so I’d say find a girl who’s traditional, me sing her mom taught her, had an intact family. I’m not saying she has to be a slave, but she has respect for you as a man assuming you’re a “man.” You take care of her, provide, do a lot of things for your family. I love Hispanic women. As someone who also doesn’t live in the US but has dated some American girls on occasion I can say: hold on with both hands


They are by far the most interesting women I dated, not necessarily the most beautiful although can’t complain either but the most fiery (maybe I got lucky though who knows)

In all seriousness I think that most people want someone that's more attractive than they are. But women are just pickier because they are the child bearers & there's a deep correlation between attractiveness & health.

That being said, I think a lot of guys could attract more girls if they worked on their looks & most importantly upped their sex appeal. I've seen many women be attracted to men who are only slightly above average looking because they had sex appeal or a sexy charm about them.
