Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yMy biggest dating tip is : “Always be yourself.”
Be authentic & open about who you truly are, and what your needs/wants & likes are.
It’s important to show your true self to the other person so that they know who you are, and are better equipped to interact with you; and, that’s especially important when meeting someone and early on in a relationship so that you both can see if you’re truly compatible together.
Also, be aware of what a healthy relationship looks like—take a look at the following article…

+1 y1. Give yourself time to heal and get over the first guy before you start to date again.
2. Look in the mirror. Know your standards, principles, worth, and expectations before dating.
3. Realise that inner qualities show on the outside and are more important than external ones.
4. Never dress in revealing clothes, when going on a date. Leave that for if and when you have a full on relationship (marriage).
5. Learn from the mistakes you made in your first relationship and avoid repeating them.31 Reply- +1 y

+1 yI would say to find activity partners and social networks to find your match and choose things you enjoy, if you guys are best friends before dating, it reduces the risk of cheating or comparative partner shopping and relationship hopping. I know people who married young, and they met their match at church because that was their interest, or at the hospital where they worked as health workers, or in school where they studied the same types of careers, find your interest and you will find your match.

+1 yI try not to get too excited or jump to conclusions right away, because I know this was my unfortunate experience for a long time, every time a woman agreed to go on a date with me, they would either flake or cancel on me at the last minute and I would be ghosted, or I wouldn't get a second date with her.
So I basically just try not to put all my eggs in one basket14 Reply- +1 y
Yeah I'm very blunt if i don't like you you'll know it. I don't want to lead anyone on either. That's not fair so I'm not wasting anyone's time
- +1 y
Hope you're feeling better and healing from the chronic pain, but yeah it was a struggle for years on being able to get a second date
- +1 y
Yes feeling a bit better today
- +1 y
Happy to hear that, but yeah I'm sadly no stranger to being led on
+1 yMy view on this is don’t actually date.
coming from a long relationship in to dating is always dodgy.
just have fun, go out for meals with some, with others just sex.
give it a while before you oook for a relationship.11 Reply- +1 y

+1 yOne thing that I had to get used to when I was more in your age range, was that "hitting it off right away" doesn't necessarily mean that you'll end up dating. There are a lot of things that can get in the way of dating a particular person, or you might find out that there are things about them that don't fit with your personality, etc.
I remember thinking, "but we hit it off so well to begin with!" LOL...03 Reply- +1 y
Absolutely really need to get to know each other
- +1 y
LOL There was a lady who I hit it off well with about ten years back. Then I was disappointed that it didn't work out. However with her bad spending habits that I found out about later, I'm glad we didn't become a couple. She started dating a guy and then living with him, and ended up $100,000 in debt over time.

I know I'm worried about picking dating meeting someone totally different from their picture i hope that doesn't happen to me. Haha
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI don't date a lot, but in my experience nothing has changed. Other than people think it's perfectly acceptable and "normal" to ghost, which is very sad.

So true just be honest if you don't want to just tell me I'm a big girl i can Handel it
+1 yYeah I am in kinda in the same boat I was in a relationship and had a friend with benefits for a decade. It is a little diffrent from when I was younger from technology and I am rusty. I am still getting one night stands but nothing comes of it. My best dating tip is just be confident and be yourself. If you really like a guy be a little flirtatious and maybe you control the conversation and be the hunter than the hunted.

Damn that's how i feel i feel like I've been out of the game so long i don't even know where to start
- +1 y
I say just start of slow maybe go to a small bar or club maybe a small party. You just need to use some effort and initiative to get your groove back maybe get a new sexy outfit, do your hair and mskeup, and get a medi pedi but from how attractive you are you should be okay.

Yeah but young men don’t want to settle down with older women. But yeah you could easily bang a bunch of 20 year olds.
Go very slow and don't talk about a whole bunch of baggage situations enlighten don't harp upon
