Do people who say "Sure" instead of "Yes" are they less enthusiastic about the question?

Sometimes I believe an answer saying "Sure" is a low key way of saying yes, but Im not thrilled to do this or that. Maybe im thinking 🤔 too much. People who answer to a date, a meeting, or outing etc.. when they say Yes, it feels so much better. I know 💯 they are down!

"Sure" sounds , non committal, maybe even less interested..

It all depends on their tone of voice when saying sure. Personally, I say both.

This is why certain conversations need to take place over the phone or in person. So many things can be misunderstood over text. Regardless, I wouldn’t stress over why a person says “sure” instead of “yes.”

No, I disagree with this. It's almost entirely to do with personal speaking habits, not enthusiasm in my opinion

There is a 4 char min limit on an answer. So people can’t say “yes”, they use sure as it has 4 chars
