When was the last time you used a kissing gate?

No one knows why they're called kissing gates. Some say it's because the gate kisses each post, and others claim because only one person can pass through you're supposed to claim a kiss off the next person.

They're pretty common in the UK along footpaths and places you cross railway lines. The photo shows you how to use one, trust me many people get a little confused.

About two weeks ago. But never again I went to see what all the guys was all about. I told myself I was there might as well try it.

The moments I put my lips on it from behind something is pushing me face first in to the FENCE. And theN I hear some one yell. MOOOOVE. MOOOVE STUPID COW

It’s clearly called a kissing gate because only skinny minis can use them. Us fatties don’t get kisses. Well, aside from candy kisses. Ell oh ell!

Been a long time, they’re normally by livestock I guess if they escape their enclosure to prevent them getting further. Sometimes on a common but been a while since I went up on a common, might make a point to this summer.

Didn’t know that’s what they called them and as others have said, they’re from a time when average population waist size was smaller, can imagine people complaining these days.

I didn't know those kinds of gates were called "kissing gates". They are meant to stop bikes and motorcycles. There quite a few of those gates here, in and at the entrances of the forests around Brussels. I was in the forest a few months ago, and had indeed to pass one.

Thats a ranch full of horses 🐎 or cows we had one gate to open at our campground that I would go to for the summer we had many horses for horse back riding no kissing gate
