Not from my perspective.

I've been GAGA over so many lovely ladies over the years whom I was sure that my ardor was unrequited by them that I couldn't count them all.

On the flip side, as I look back at my life, I believe that I was completely blind at the time to the come-ons from a number of eligible ladies.

I've lived, I've learned, I've lost, I've endured.

Now an old guy, I find flirting to be easy peasy.
Not creepy, just easy and fun.

I'm married, but I'm not dead.
Not yet, anyway.

Are women more likely to flirt with and lead on men just for the hell of it you ask? The answer is yes.

Men and women are actually equal in the category of misreading. But I give women the edge in head games because women simply have been doing it longer. Guys learn to exploit and use the opposite gender at puberty women are taught to do it from birth.

Truthfully men learn the male female interaction from women. Guys may mistakenly believe in adolescence. But by the time they're a young adult they've got women largely figured out. But that doesn't mean all women have stopped playing little girl games. Some women will do it till they're old and crusty.

So its healthy for a man to do that im an attractive man always told by women i ended up struggling with confidence as an adult and it kept me thinking no one likes me it makes it worse men want to believe it but more are waking up realizing its just not real anymore but me and my guy friends like to pretend

Well, they're more likely to be mistaken about it. Pretending to be attracted to a man in order to manipulate him (for attention, free drinks, money, whatever) is basic female behaviour.
On the flipside, females are more likely than men to believe attraction equates to emotional connection... while men will quite frequently just be after sex.

It is often the opposite, that is why so many women think that if she can get a certain level of man to have sex with her that he must actually like her too when that is often NOT the case.

Not necessarily. I have no real data or information to come to a real conclusion, but I would guess the other way.

Yes, men generally don't get compliments as often so when we get one from a girl we don't know if it is flirting or she is just being nice lol
