How long does it usually take you to know if someone is “the one”?

To be honest you never know because you could think you found that person start dating them. Even marry them 2 weeks later, you could be divorced. Or broke up, it takes 2 people to make it work.
And they have to have the same goals the same ones the same desires and then understand each other.
And even then. Somewhere down the road is good and you never know

It depends. I was with somebody for 4 years. We even talked about marriage. Still, I had my doubts about it. Finally I broke up with her.

I met my wife a few months later. I knew almost from the start that we were supposed to be together.

It depends on your sense of knowing. Everybody sense of knowing is different. It could be days, weeks, months or years.
