I’m 19, and I live with my sister because my mom is abusive and toxic. I live with my sister and her daughter, and her daughter and I share the same room. Her daughter will laugh for hours for no reason—really loud, like crazy. Even the simplest thing makes her laugh really loudly, and she keeps going even if you ask her to stop. She also leaves bowls and food in her bed. Recently, she even put a little piece of orange peel in my bed. When I told her about it, she got mad and denied doing it. She’s 11, and she claims that I’m just being sensitive and that I “can’t handle her behavior,” saying she’s just being silly.

The laughing last for hour or more and she’ll start laughing like crazy and loud.

Well she is 11. And she has to maybe act 15 when she's around her mom. You are her aunt. Her friend. Her big sister.. someone that will come to you all her life if she has a problem or is in trouble. Before she goes to her mother.

You had an older sister you were raised with and now. she has you other wise. She's just a lonely bored 11 year old

Look there's no reason in this world you can't be 12. For an hr or two before you go to bed. there's no reason you can't get a bowl to and then teach her what to do with it when she's finished if you can't teach then guide her.

This is not about you. You lived it all ready with your sister. This is about her. How you treat her teach her I hope you do a good job. Because

Next you will be having a daughter. And just maybe one day she will experience a big sister cousin ..

But at the sametime you become 12 18 19 you also teach your giving her this time and then she will understand. Work and early morning and waking up and doing her best to make sure. You good to go. .. but she knows nothing until someone teaches her. .. its ok to put a gummy bear worm under her pillow some times

I agree, but she's testing you, and if you know she's living, you have to call her on it. Andcsay looks what happens oneday when something happens. And. You say something. And because all the times you lied to me, I say nope, she's living. And you're really telling the truth. But since you do nothing but lie to me. I believe you're lying again, and then you get in big trouble, and there's no way to save you. And as you grow and you lie and get away with it, you won't have any friends at all because no matter what, the truth always comes out. Your friend won't want to do anything with you because they dont believe in you or trust you

She isn’t respecting boundaries. Laughing like that is her being 11 and she knows you are affected by it. If you ignored it she may stop. However leaving food in your bed crosses boundaries and you may need to lock your bedroom door

I don't think you're sensitive, it's normal for adults to not want to share a room with children- but you can't blame a child for acting like a child.

Kids do a lot of unnecessary things, but parents should of course keep them in line. But things like you being mad because she laughs a lot at dumb things wouldn't bother you as much if you weren't sharing a room with her, because it isn't normal for adults to share rooms with kids.
