Nope. I'm happy for others whose romance flourishes but when it comes to me, I've been through too much nonsense (and one instance of abuse) that I'm much too jaded to call myself romantic. I just expect any romantic gesture to be thrown back in my face as I'm a firm believer that no good deed goes unpunished.

There will always be a part of me that is an "Incurable Romantic" , the question is how big a part at any given moment. Sometimes I find myself whisked away on a romantic mood or daydream and anything seems possible but other times that mood can seem quite far away almost impossible to reach.
