Short men ( and women) : How do you feel about your height?

A question specifically for short men.. as in men 5'6 and lesser...

How do you feel about being short? How has it affected your self esteem , your relationship with opposite gender and your dating /mating opportunities?

Also how tall are you.

It bothered me as a teen not anymore

It affects me a lot although I try to overcome it

Im 5 ft 5 inches

I like my height. Im tall enough for clothes to fit well but not too tall to the point where Im taller than most guys

I prefer not being too short because short girls tend to have a very hard time shopping. Most clothes aren't designed to fit people under 5'4". I have known people who say even petite pants or dresses are still too long for them. These people dont have much of a choice of what to wear

I’m 4’11. I don’t dislike being short but it wouldn’t hurt to be a few inches taller to make it easier to reach things

I always hated how short I am and felt emasculated by it especially when people see it as a sign that I’m their physical inferior


So I try to fight them but they just put their hand on my head and hold me at arms length as I swing through the air trying to close the gap

I guess it's easier for women to accept and be short height
