Im 5ft and sometimes i do feel self conscious about it. I feel i look ridiculous sometimes especially because i have short stumpy legs. Sometimes i just wish i could the tall elegant Victoria model type.

Its super annoying to i have to tip down and cruel up things just so i can get something. It's even set me back at work before. I used to work in a warehouse and as event crew with all men over 6ft. I could never compete with them. It take them 2 seconds to do a job whilst if i had to do it I'd have to search around for my midget step before i could do anything.

Plus no one takes me seriously. Everyone either thinks im a child or all sweet, cute and innocent. It has its perks, childrens clothes are way cuter and cheap compared to adults and I've gotten into so many places for free or with a discount because i look younger than i am.

Guys seem to find my hight attractive to and its easy for me to get them to do stuff for me because i make them feel masculine and as if im a damsel in distress when in reality i just couldn't be bothered it had nothing to do with my hight.

It can be nice to when loved ones think im cute when i want attention because i get lots of cuddles and kisses and cake but then when im not in the mood i hste it and when i get angry people just find it cuter and think im joking when i say " get the f off me ". It can be super patronising especially when its someone im not close to and the try to pick me up, bend down whilst talking to me or pinches my cheeks. I just want to murder them on the spot.
I can laugh at myself and i don't mind a couple jokes at my expense but when the same shit everyday it gets boring and abit offensive at times. One guy told me i could make a lot of money in the porn industry and that i was a pedophiles dream 😑

I'm happy with it. I'm 5' 4.5," so average, almost exactly (although I am very proud of that extra half inch). I was a really short kid though. Freakishly short. When I was eleven years old, I was the same height as an average six-year-old. My doctors estimated that my adult height would be under five feet. My classmates would talk to me like I was a toddler, because that's what I looked like to them. I think it's a very sobering moment when you're in fourth grade, and your class walks past a kindergarten class, and the kindergarteners are the ones 'aww'ing at you.

I never really had a huge growth spurt either. I just didn't hit puberty until really late. So I didn't stop getting taller until I was almost 19. Slow and steady wins the race, I guess.

Honestly though, I'm glad I'm not short anymore. I have a baby face, and I'm shy, so even now I still get people treating me like a kid, but it's not even close to how bad it was when I was in high school. I'm also glad I'm not any taller though, because when I was younger I very strongly identified as a short person. I feel like if I got much taller I would have an identity crisis.

I'm 6'1", though some say 6'2", I don't feel tall and am becoming closer to average. The college I go to a third of the guys are taller. I consider tall at or above 6'5". Average for America was around 5'10", but is approaching 6'. The average height in the Netherlands is 6' for men. Around the world there is almost consistently a five inch difference between men and women, but that is a linear approximation. A percentage comparison is more accurate. I would be looking at a 5'8" or 5'9" woman if it were the standard difference. I don't mind taller or shorter women, but fear crushing smaller women.

I am 6'4" (used to bill myself 6'5", but the decades...). It is occasionally handy to be this tall, for example I probably have avoided going for a ladder hundreds of times, but mostly it is a nuisance. I don't fit well in many cars, chairs, beds, berths on boats etc. I had to get a custom road bike back in the day to get a proper fit. I strike my head on things. Costs more to feed me. It is hard to find clothing that fits.

The sweet spot is probably 6'. Get the advantages of being tall, but avoid many of the negatives.

It's funny. I grew up being told I'm a little taller than average for the place that I live in, but after coming to the internet I'm somehow a short short midget? The heck I want my tall ego back uwu this is unfair...

Jk. My height is 5'2.5". I'm not mad about it except why it's not in a whole number. Many BMI calculators make me round up my height to 5'2" or 5'3" and it really frustrates me. Converting to cm is even worse, 158.75cm. At least being in whole numbers would have made my life a little easier.

I also don't like the fact that people tend to underestimate me. like fuck. I have a baby face too, so instead of looking 21, I look 16 or 15. people literally kneel down so they can be on my level, and talk in a high pitched tone. da fuck, I'm not 5 idiot. if I was 5'6 that would be great. I’m around 5’8”, so most people think of me as the short kind of tall. I don’t really have an opinion on it, but I guess I can’t complain. In middle school I used to hate it because I was taller than most of the boys, but they finally caught up and now a lot of them are taller than me, so that’s resolved. I like my height because I’m tall enough to reach shelves and feel tall but short enough to wear heels no problem. My height also provides a confident look, which many people pick up on. All in all, it’s a good height to be.

I'm tall at nearly 5'10. Growing up it made me feel awkward - I was always taller than my friends, boys my age, and I felt like I slouched too much. Although I probably do slouch a little more than I should, I have learned to see the positives. I never really notice it too much as I have always been tall but many of my friends and acquaintances have expressed a wish to be as tall as me, or at least to have my legs. My legs are definitely my finest asset - the way I see it, and as a girl pointed out to me once, is that long legs is probably the most desirable feature that there is no surgery for. I am against plastic surgery generally, but if someone really wanted bigger boobs, a bigger butt or plumper lips, etc, you could either take the surgery or exercise intensely. So I do have to see them positively.

I'm really happy with my height of 6'7. There are some negative aspects of course like needing to duck when walking through most door or when kissing my girlfriend, or just generally hugging my family or friends. Also, buying clothes can be a harsh job too, but all in all, really happy with it.

I am 5'10.5" (still growing) so above average height. I was belittled about my height a few years ago as I grew after everyone else (girls called me cute, in a puppy dog kind of way and people often commented on how small I was).

This lead to a height insecurity, and so now that I am taller than a lot of people, I still want to grow to be around 6'2.5" when I am older and have a good strong physique. I don't feel that negatively about my height anymore but would like to be taller.
