Girls do you feel you need a guy to assemble your things?
And guys how do you feel about a girl assembling her own stuff?

I think I’ve built a similar table before, it came with instructions. Men aren’t patient with assembling with instructions, they just look at everything and see what fits.🤣
Lol that's true lol
@vevv123 that's so true and explains why men suck especially if that's how they do all things -
This is so true. If I can't build it without a manual, a lot of the time I've let my ex handle the instructions and tell me what to do next. Luckily, most furniture is pretty intuitive and doesn't need a manual.
@HawkPerception I actually like instructions, it makes me feel like a professional builder. The table might be a little wiggly, but it gets the job done. 🤓✔️
Yes that's when it's the easiest for me I put up a 75×70 ft metel building before and it was pictures and written directions together it wasn't that bad kinda fun playing around with scissor lift and boomtruck any woman could've done it if they took there time and followed the directions
Nope! Spent so much time with my dad growing up watching him put things together or fix something, I’m actually pretty handy!
That's awesome! I didn't have a dad growing up but I've just learned over time how to put things together myself.
That's so true. I'm proud of myself that I didn't go to someone else for help.
And I was a bit of a tomboy growing up as well. That's probably why I don't mind assembling things myself.
YW hun!
Aww thanks... so are you! 💕

Girls can assemble stuff too. It's literally as simple as reading instructions. Men are only needed for things that require more strength and even in that regard, there's a lot of machines and technology now that make that easy.
The truth is, guys aren't anywhere as needed as they were in the past due to technology and conveniences of things. We still always like to help though and it's also proven that men generally have better spatial sense than women. So when it comes to things like construction and putting stuff together, we can almost always do it faster and better.
Again, not saying that women can't.
I’m pretty good at building things. So i never wish i had another man to do it for me. Ell oh ell!
That said, i do take my car to mechanics and in my entire lifetime, 100% of the mechanics i’ve ever met were men. I have known a few women whose dads taught them some of the basics, as well as a young lady who helped her dad in his garage. She definitely appeared destined for the craft.
I am an adult and that is something that I am perfectly capable of doing on my own, therefore no.
Capable, independent, woman 👀
So I'm sure at first you might not have wanted to fo it but when you were finished we're you happy or excited that you did it
My wife can assemble simple things without needing my help. We work together (she supervises while I assemble) on more complex things.
I don't think many men would care if a girl does assemble her own stuff just so long as they aren't expected to repair if it goes wrong.
I find girls lack mechanical sensitivity. They under tighten or over tighten and never do just right. That includes turning off bloody taps. It took years to teach one girlfriend how to turn a tap off without ruining the washer.
While new born baby girls prefer looking at faces, new born baby boys like looking at mechanical toys. I tend to think there is gender skill gap.
Not that it can't be learnt. Eventually said girlfriend above learnt to turn taps off correctly. I had to invest a lot of effort in it though.
I wish I hadn't a man who has the gift of not only assembling things but actually using his brain and hands to fix things. Because even though I have a brain 🧠 and ✋️ 👐 I don't know nor can I assemble or fix anything!
There was an add in the paper for people like myself that need to hire someone to do those things and the name of his company is "Rent A Husband".
Honestly with how many times I’ve assembled things myself, no I don’t wish for a man to do it for me.
my desk? Me
my bed? Me
mounted my tv? Me
put up the shelving in my bedroom? Me
nightstand? Me
I just find it so much to do now that I take everything apart when I get bored and reassemble it
HA! Nope. Because I am that man. A gal
Cousin made a similar comment regarding her husband - because he is not remotely handy. “Oh to have a man around who is handy…” was her comment when she was telling me about a plumbing issue she was having with her upstairs bathtub and I told her how to fix her issue.
My sister handles most if not all of the home maintenance for her fiance. I try not to judge, but i fail. Ell oh ell!
It is a whole new world out there. Men these days…
I will admire and welcome any lady who knows how to use her hands:)
Where ''two hours'' for this desk may prompt me to offer assistance, heh heh.
But you got it done - that looks like a successful project.
Thanks. It indeed was.
I really don't care if a woman wants to assemble her own stuff but if she does she needs to stick with it and finish it and not try to get me to do it.
But for stuff like computer desks it'd probably easier to just have me do it in the first place I assembled so many of those things for a job one time that I got to the point where I could dang near do it blindfolded.
I think it's awesome when women do things that were traditionally done by men. The person that tiled my bathroom was a woman and another one replaced the subfloor that was required because of water damage. Both did amazing work.
Wow that's incredible!
Girls need a person who knows what they are doing as much as guys do,,,
Really important that girls learn about mechanical stuff, my daughter was using tools from a young age, I bought her a drill/driver for her 13th birthday, she loved it, real men share their skills imho,,,
Nah ngl everytime my husband or dad has built any type of furniture they overtighten all the screws and it drives me crazy lol id much rather just do it myself so I know its built correctly
Let me guess, they used a power drill? It always annoys me when people use a drill on something that is hand tightened. They either stipped the head, are over-torqued, or the threading is stripped out.
@dragoblack yep they'll use the drill a lot of times.. it annoys me because it ruins the screws 🫠
It's honestly better to get a screwdriver with a built-in torque meter. Just had it to him, look him in the eye, and say "stop destroying the screws, making them impossible to get out."
Two hours? You lucked out, I've had one of those things done that quick. Good job!
Thanks.
I don't mind being roped into building things or sorting the computer for my girlfriend though I know she is more than capable of doing most things herself
Thankfully, I have two healthy hands and can do it myself and don't need someone to do it for me.
Assembling it together? Well, that's another story. 😂 Doing it is fun.
@whereismyjohnny you don't need no man 💪💪
Yeah, there are times I wish I had a man for that and…other things. 😏
Same. I would have gotten my guy friend to do it, but he lives 2 hours away and his car is not doing well. So I was like I better try to get this done myself and I'm surprised I did it! So proud of myself lol
Yeah 😊
Either or for me if she can do it great iam not one of those guys who needs to do things like that for a woman I will if she asks but fine is she does herself
@Simslover92 you're a strong confident independent woman (Friends episode) - you don't need no man 😄🙂✌️
@Simslover92 how comfortable does it feel at your desk? 😁
My wife can do a lot of things like that. She is not good with technology so I am safe for now.
🤣🤣🤣
Nope. I never needed a man for anything like that. They can cut the grass; I hate that chore.
no but i dont like asking for help period lol so it doesn't cross my mind unless im physically NOT able to do it
or something i dont wanna mess up like wiring or plumbing
I have never once needed a man to help me put something together lol. It’s just a matter of following instructions.
Good job 👍🏻
i like women who can build and fix things
Thanks.
Girls assembling their own stuff? Outstanding! Girls willing to assemble their own stuff? Double outstanding!
Good on you, My ex made composite airplane panels, quite complex actually. We were mutually supportive.
I'd like to have one to assemble my fucking furnace, already, before I freeze THIS winter, too!!!
I think it's good if she can but nice when she asks as long as it's to help her.
@Simslover92 I'm all for you doing those things!
If she really appreciates me for who I am and not just what I can do for her. I don't mind doing stuff for her.
My daughter was always the go to assembler
Of various flat packs.
I think it's great if she wants to assemble things. Working with your hands can be very satisfying. I am also happy to lend a hand or do it for her if she would like me to.
I am a man that puts thing together and im so proud of you
Thanks.
No need for another guy... I got that handled!
Any adult should be capable. It's like cooking and cleaning, any adult should be able to do it without complaining.
Why does someone need a guy to assemble things. Who sys guys re better at it?
Women are homeowners, car owners, etc. They should know what's necessary to maintain their stuff.
I wish I had a woman assembling things for me :P
Seriously, I'm not very handy 🤷
Hey, can I send you my desk to put together too? I am proud of you for reading the instructions which most guys won’t do….
I might be impressed if the girl put together an engine or something
I'm all for it. I have a girl maintenence man that rents a room from me.
I like building projects. It's fun to do them together too though.
No with YouTube I can do things If I need help then I'll ask my dad.
isn't it funny how women only advocate for masculinity, when they personally benefit from it but condemn it in all other cases?
Only the lazy ones
Not really. I'm pretty good at that myself.
No no no. I love building things. 🧘♀️
Tinder worked great for that lol
No I do fine on my own.
Nice, but I think that I can do it better
nah im fine on my own
Sometimes. It depends on what it is.
I like doing things for my lady.
nah i work so much better alone
It's great to see a girl assemble things
LOL, that's going to fall apart quick.
Equal rights? Equal work...
No lol 😂
