I would react with extreme bitterness. That is bordering on the verge of betrayal. She let him pay for her drink? Does she like him?

No its very bad. I would not take that lightly if I was in love. If I was just with her I will probably tolerate it for a while until I find someone else or cut the relationship short, and then she can enjoy as many coffees with the guy as she wants.

I'm just relaying the statistics. Note that I never claimed that this happens in all cases, but people do get cheated on and this makes up the majority according to what I've read and heard. And who's to say that the western work culture is the optimal work culture when it comes to maintaining stable marriages? It doesn't look like it to me given the divorce rates in the US.

I also often hear about men being denied sex from their wives and it isn't surprising at all to me especially since these men typically have some average body. I'm not sure how a woman can be aroused by that and I see why they may be incentivized to cheat if their sexual needs aren't met.

Sure a woman , like a man may find a better than average body more visually attractive but bodies don’t remain like that do they ? And that alone isn’t anywhere near enough to sustain a relationship !! People generally cheat when the need for self gratification outweighs the intimacy they gain from the relationship , with the serial cheaters so ‘broken’ that they really struggle with intimacy and let’s just forget about the sex addicts , it’s obvious they have a mental disorder. Whether a body remains attractive is a different story. However there is more than enough evidence to see that men who are in-shape are generally found to be more attractive to women.

I also never said that having an attractive body alone was enough to sustain a relationship - but I did mention the incentive to cheat if someone isn't getting sexual gratification from their partner. As far as I'm concerned, if I get married, I will try to make it as easy as possible for my wife to not succumb to the temptation of cheating, assuming she is being tempted. At the end of the day, she is MY wife, therefore it's in my interests to make sure she's satisfied.

By the way, I've experienced the difference in female attention I get after getting in shape and it is obvious. If you try it yourself you'll see that I'm not lying and then maybe you'll wonder why women in relationships are giving you attention (this happened to me).

Honestly , I can’t even follow what your point is anymore , I’m not sure you even know and I’m certain it’s not even relevant.
I’m not interested in how many other women will find me attractive. I’m only concerned with how much my partner is attracted and attractive to me. Do you even understand what intimacy and maturity are? Do you understand that a relationship or marriage is about so much more than finding each other objectively attractive? A woman being tempted by another man or woman isn’t just about how they look !.

Initially I was simply pointing out that cheating is possible, and just because it isn't feasible to spy on your partner 24/7 doesn't mean your partner won't cheat (which is contrary to what you seemed to think based on your responses).

And forget other women - try getting in shape and observe how your wife's behavior changes. You don't even need to tell me, just do it for your own curiosity.
