Why would a guy lose interest overnight?

There could be a few possibilities.

It could be that he was never really interested and was merely trying to partake in physical activity of intimacy 😅.

It could be he fell for another girl, maybe he was seeing other girls and made up his mind. If we were to believe romcoms it would be his 'female best friend' 🤣🤣

Its not likely that he would lose interest over one or two things a girl said. Instead it'll usually be a multitude of things; that for example, causes him to gradually see a difference in ideals, values, religion and so on, which then culminates and pops.

The example given might not be as relatable in certain areas of the West; but at least in Asia; where things like family values and religion is prioritized, it does happen.

There are other possibilities; but at least in my view, these seem to be the most likely.
