There is this guy at my work that used to be into me & at first I wasn’t but I decided to give it a try. We started talking and eventually went on a couple dates, everything seemed fine but nothing ever happened between us, not even holding hands or anything. I decided to talk to him and be straight forward with him, he hit me with the “I’m not ready for a relationship right now and I have a lot going on on my plate with school and stuff” & at the time it got me annoyed but we stayed friends. I never knew why or what happened because everything was so sudden. Till this day we are still friends and coworkers and throughout this time we have become very good friends but I still have feelings for him and I feel like they have gotten stronger. I think he still has feelings for me too but hides it. He has never crossed the line of our friendship but we would tease each other and flirt. He stills calls me, facetime me & texts me almost everyday and I feel like this situation is just hurting me and confusing me more. He acts like he doesn’t care about me but his actions say otherwise. Whenever there’s guys he gets protective over me and tries to mark his territory if that makes sense. He also always tries to get my attention so I only talk to him whenever there’s guys around or he always notices when other guys are looking at me. & he talks about girls with me but I can never talk about guys with him because he gets all annoyed or acts like he doesn’t care. Lately he’s been acting different, he doesn’t follow my jokes as much or teases me as much as before, but he still acts the same when there is guys around me! I know if I ask him it would make things awkward between us and probably ruin our friendship & I honestly don’t know what I should do about this situation because I really don’t want to lose him as a friend because I’m really attach to him but I don’t want to keep on hurting myself either, what should I do? What’s your opinion on this?
Why do guys lose interest so quick?
