My married friend wants me to visit her and stay at her house?

So I have a friend who moved away. I don’t see her as often as I used to naturally but One day she calls me up and told me that she wanted me to visit her and that I can come down and stay at her house whenever I wanted to get away. She claims her husband wouldn’t care. Keep in mind I’ve never met her husband and these are her words not his Me and her had gotten pretty close during our time working but we never hung out and most of our conversations and interactions took place at the job. Even when she got divorced from her 2nd marriage we never hung out. So the sudden invitation really caught me off guard. I’m flattered that she trust me to be in her personal space but to me that’s a big jump from just talking at the job to spending the night at her house. I feel like it’s an awkward situation for me and her husband because our first time meeting would be me staying in his house. Being transparent I’m am attracted to her but what keeps me in check is that I am a firm believer of getting back what you put out. I’m just wondering what she is thinking. I’m curious to hear your opinions

I should have mentioned there is a 15 year age gap between us so she might just see me as a little brother I’m 30 and she is 45

It’s a confusing situation because like I said the invitation came out of nowhere and aside from that she really is good person. Just not sure of her motives.

I see your point of view but put yourself in her shoes would you invite a former male coworker to stay your house even though your Mind you she extended the invitation to me. You all as Women are very perceptive so I’m sure she was well aware of me being attracted to her. Like I said I do have morals and I do believe in karma so 🤷🏾‍♂️

Asker, if you don’t want to stir up drama and you know you’re Interested in her then obviously the smart thing to do would be getting a room someplace and not staying with her. I’m not quite sure what her intentions are, putting myself in her shoes I don't know if I’d invite a guy to stay the night at my house with my fiancé there as well. Sounds like it could make for an awkward situation but then again I also recognize that every relationship is different so what’s normal, weird, etc to me may not me to another couple.

Overall though, it just sounds like you’re asking for trouble. I get that you have morals and whatnot but that’s your opinion while you aren’t in it. You could have a complete change of heart actually being there with her on a personal level, in her space. I just don’t think it’s worth the risk, not with her or her husband (I know my fiancé would beat some ass over me lol). It’s so easy to decline and stay elsewhere.
