Is it true men prefer what is similar to what is best?

I knew an average looking guy with an incredible career, and he told me he liked girls that were a little slightly pretty, but not too pretty.

I tend to like guys that are reasonably intelligent but not extremely intelligent. Men with I. Q.‘s in the 130 range.

Most of my cousins and friends go for guys in the 140 -190 range.

We guys learn at a fairly early age what "out of my league" means. Some may call it settling, we guys think it's what makes sense for us... to be with a more average-looking girl that satisfies our needs.

Was this guy slightly handsome then I take it with your description he was drawn to how he would himself look like a girl, LOL. Does want to feel as if he is home, not inferior or get unwanted attention from others looking at you wherever you go. But then again it is not just looks that makes the attraction. You can have different energies to you and then that is a fit, that is attraction but can too be a source of irritation if you do not work it out. I have realized I can play with my looks make up hair clothes weight and it effects how others people can react to me. It always surprised me guys would say I was pretty or beutiful with or without the make up, zero difference, in the attraction. I would be without early on and thinking he would not want to see me again because of the difference, but no. I think I had been taught the wrong way so I had this fear prejudice guys would think that.

PS I still think guys would say stuff like that because it was expected in the world of dating but not being neccery truth. I think today it is a package what makes someone attractive to you but you may not always know what it is so you say one or two things.

Not really, it's actually normal to like what is best, but some guys just settle for less, because they think that some girl is out of their league.

Some women probably do the same.

Imagine thinking you can measure compatibility with an IQ score that’s peak low-emotional-intelligence energy. IQ scores are pretty fucking irrelevant.

Anyone with actual intelligence would take one look at that and walk away.
