I did and met her at 18 she was almost 19 we became very close and had a 7 1/2 year relationship and we traveled the world together and went all over Europe and all over the USA and we lived together I was 31 I also put her in sports and she did great. We went to art museums and got a lot of culture in together and we had a lot in common.

I don't know girl, it's legal but as someone who's almost 18, I still feel like a kid and I don't understand why I will suddenly feel differently after few months.

No, age gap is not important when you are mature enough, but when 18 years, we don't understand whether it's real love, attraction or timepass, in age of 18 we don't have any experience about life, dating with young or old person is not bad thing, but, when we become enough mature, so both of must give more time to build relationships and understand each other whether they are right for each other or not, then they can think about dating.

The general rule for creepiness is as follows:

For how much younger, divide your age by 2 then add 7.

For how much older, just the opposite: Subtract 7 then multiply by two

The catch is to use this rule within reason and don't take as gospel
