Mayyyyybe? I’m not as worried about the creepy factor as the in-the-moment functionality factor. Your vibe at 20 and your vibe at 30 are just different. I wouldn’t think much of it if you were just hooking up, I think we get a little crazy about the age gap thing in terms of the finger-pointing and name-calling, but those first few years of adulthood, really up through college ages, is kind of like “adult-with-training-wheels.” I can believe it can all be fine and no one is taking advantage of anyone, I just think there may be some lifestyle or maturity conflicts or disconnects at that particular time. If you were 45 and 35 I’d think absolutely nothing of it.

People don’t frown upon it as long as the man is the older one which is annoying. It should be the same both ways but for some reason if the girl is the one that’s 10 years older people make a giant fuss saying she’s an old woman blah blah but if it’s the man they don’t usually care at all to say anything unless the woman is under age, otherwise nobody cares as long as it’s the man.
