Would this affect my future relationships? I had a controlling mom who tried to control my life and wanted me to remain a virgin in my 20s. She made it seem like sex was disgraceful, and now I have a negative view of sex. Will this affect me later on when I start dating?

I'm sure you mom meant well she was trying to protect you.
But I think she hurt you more then helped. She should have just been honest with you

If she raised you right then you would have a good head on your shoulders and you wouldn't do stupid things anyway being honest is the only way to go

There is another girl on here. Who's mother did nothing but lie to her and I can't believe some of the things that she says and believe

This poor girl thinks every guy in the world is evil and I is out just for sex and that's just not true

Once you find yourself and you love yourself, everything's gonna be a lot better and I'm sure it's going to affect your dating but that just depends on you depends on how you react or snap out of this or the knowledge that you gain.

For many, yes. Sex should not be demonized. It's a normal and biological desire that literally is the reason our species can continue. It's the main way of bonding physically and emotionally and becoming more than friends in a relationship. If you have a negative view of sex, then you put up a wall between you and your partner. You never really let them get close to you.
