Trending & News Honestly speaking, risks are always subjective. I can agree with you for certain instances: risk of being rejected, risk of being betrayed, risk of being judged, risk of being pushed away are real. And they can hurt a lot.
But I assure you loneliness can hurt a lot too, maybe you’re young and you don’t know, but the risk of being alone all life is very very painful. Being alone and live a repetitive life with no particular stimulus is not something you would recommend to anyone… so until you’re on time and you have the energy, go get some dates, and try to find someone to get old with.
I am 24 and I pretty much lived a repetitive life so far. I am really content with what I have achieved ad accomplised.
I believe being an adult is living a "repetitive life". A routine if you wish.
Also as a person with a face for radio and a voice for print, I have never had the "effect" on the ladies.
Also it is ειδαιμονια not ευδεμονια
I do not know if it is purposeful but I am pointing out.
If you’re serene with yourself standing alone, you’re welcome. I was just telling my opinion, I’m 30, never had a relationship for various reasons and actually I’m suffering for loneliness and repetitiveness of life. Routine maybe can be a shield initially and something comfortable, since it gives you safety and security, but after some time it eliminates stimulus to everything and you start seeing the world greyer. Adult life doesn’t mean that for everyone, I see adults living a decent and still not so repetitive life.
Having someone to side with can be very helpful with that.
In my life I do not see many adults ( propee adults that is, not 20 year olds with their parents paying off their bills and just studying) that are not in a routine and have " exciting lives ".
I don’t mean live an exciting life as mandatory, but things can always change. And obviously a dating life is not mandatorily exciting, it can be quiet and serene too.
You’re young so your path has still to be found. I obviously don’t wish you to live a repetitive and boring life, I’m just warning you things can be repented of.
When you grow older you can repent of certain choices made these years, I’m just telling you routine and repetitiveness of life shouldn’t be exclusive from the opportunities you can find during your path.
If that is how you feel, then you don't need other people to agree with you. Just stop dating. It doesn't matter to me.
There's no reason you need anyone here to justify your opinion... You have the right to your own opinion, whatever that may be... So I guess that for you... sure, why wouldn't it be ok? (Not everyone will share in this feeling, but that's ok...)
Believe in whatever you like. That doesn't mean you are right.

Ask anyone with a relationship that lasted long and they’ll tell you it was worth it, just sounds so… inhuman?
What sounds so inhuman?
Inhuman isn’t the right word…. ‘Incel’ is.
Ah... Well I do not put labels to people or myself.
Okay
I don’t agree, but it’s fine for you to think that.
What is and isn't okay is subjective
