Is having options when it comes to dating and relationships really just an illusion considering most of those “options” aren’t good dating potentials?

Not at all. They are still options, whether you like them or not. Everyone, everyday has the option to commit any crime, or to donate to charity, or to shave their butt and walk backwards.

I guess you’re right. Even if those options aren’t the best of women and men as far as their character goes, they are in fact still attracted to and that would still make them an option. It would just be on you if you choose them considering they showed you who they really are.

Oh, listed things not related to dating. Any how, someone can go for someone not attractive to them, or someone that isn't the brightest bulb, some that has committed numerous crimes, or has shown a history of cheating or not supporting the offspring they made

That’s what’s I’m saying I don't know how it is for men but with rn and most of my girl friends and even women in my family. Yes we attract men and the men are usually attractive and some aren’t much our type and of course we have men we’re attracted to so if we’re talking quantity. Sure, we have options but as far as quality, then no we don’t lol.
