Hygiene issues

They probably have options, its just in their head, that they think they don't

Issue with weight- too skinny or overweight

off-putting personality, mannerisms, etc

Not taking enough initiative (flirting, body language, showing others that they're interested)

Bad luck

some are too selective maybe? or too selective early on. its often hard to get people to give you that first date or actual chance with them.

some also perhaps aren't that attractive but even average looking girls could still get dates if there tried the market

True, but I guess you could say "average looking" girls, may think they are hot, and you or me thinking they are average is just an opinion, that not everyone agrees with, so their standards should be through the roof.

i find here even a lot of average girls have high standards in guys , especially in terms of looks and income , they still want the better % of guys despite being more or less average themselves.

I would say it’s standards cause I know 300 pound and mentally challenged women with boyfriends.

Some people seem to want want a date, rather than want a date WITH someone. It almost feels as if what matters is checking off that box, its not that they are actually attracted to a particular person.
