Not weird at all. I'd rather a girl is clingy than the opposite (which is not at all). It shows she's interested. However, clinginess needs to mature at some point and it needs to be communicated. Clinginess comes from a place of insecurity. If you want peace in a relationship, it comes from a place of trust.

It's fine to communicate with your partner where you are at all times. It doesn't take long to send a text of where you are or who you're with. And that helps to build trust. But at some point you should be able to trust your partner and respect their space. Because we are individuals and require time to ourselves to recharge and get mental clarity.
