Why are men mad at women they're not attracted to if they weren't going to date them anyway?

When bringing up relationship issues and reproductive issues, men say that the ugly women don't have to worry because they're not trying to be in a relationship with them or reproduce with them. However, why are they fussing with someone they could care less about. They've already told the other women that if you look unattractive, like "her," they're not going to have the men's attention.
So what more do men want from ugly women? Obviously, their opinion would be silenced if the other women actually cared about the men's opinion more.

People get rejected. Not everyone is going to like everyone. But it makes them feel better about themselves I suppose. Like they have the upper hand… But it’s not normal to constantly complain about it.

The same question could be asked of women. Women may even consider dating a particular guy, and she maybe even respond with outrage that he even consider himself in her her league. But she still considers it his duty to pine for her. So why are women so angry that these men avoid all of it altogether?
