Why does it matter? What matters is if there is a genuine connection. People cannot control their height but they can control what type of person they are.

Everyone is different… So. If height is a dealbreaker that’s fine. But it’s not the only thing that matters.

It makes absolutely no difference to me. I mean my boyfriend and i are the same height and it doesn't affect me in the slightest. If a guy is insecure about his height, then that's something he should work on. Now on average, men are generally taller than women and that means men are going to be the taller one in the relationship more often than not, but it isn't a requirement.
