I would tweak this a bit and change "obey" to "respect". When a woman loves a man she trusts him and respects him enough to allow him to lead her. But trusting and allowing a man to lead does not mean following him blindly. A good woman checks a man when he needs to be checked, but she does it without tearing him down. A good woman builds her man up. Because a good woman is a well of strength for a man. Women that do not get this do so because they are in direct competition with men and that is why they fail. Men are not going to compete with you. They'll tolerate it for a little bit before they just walk away completely.

Women if you want success with men you need to be his PEACE (not his piece).

Men if you want success with women you need her respect. That doesn't mean a woman will give you her respect even if you're worthy of it. But never tolerate a woman who doesn't respect you (when you've earned it that is).

I agree with swapping the word 'obey' with respect unless you are in the bedroom. But yeah, when women love men, it usually comes with a great deal of respect. And when you respect someone, you value their judgement. But unless you don't wish her well or have her best interests at heart, it will quickly turn sour and resentment will build. In a partnership, you support each other. Show her you care about her, wants what's best for her, shower her with love and you'll most likely have a happy wife who respects your judgement and also challenges it in a healthy manner when that is due.

I think "obey' is a terrible word to use anytime/anywhere when two people are involved, especially in a marriage. I would never want a woman to feel that she had to 'obey' anything I said
