Is living with parents and seeing guy one time a week a boyfriend or only living together means a guy is your boyfriend?

I feel single as I live with parents in a senior home and I go to the store alone while girls shop with their boyfriend and or baby.

if I meet a guy 1x a week for a date , and live with parents this means I’m single?

I hear girls live with boyfriend right away and some til marriage and some til after 1-5 years dating.

is me living in a studio alone mean I’m single and don’t have a boyfriend?
I work daily so I wouldn’t be able see a guy daily unless we live together.
or meeting once a week for date and going to guys family parties for holidays is a boyfriend?

A boyfriend is about commitment, not address.

You can live with your parents, see him once a week, and still be in a real relationship if both of you agreed you’re together.

Living together doesn’t magically make someone a boyfriend, it just changes logistics, not status.

A lot of people take years before moving in.

Some never move in until marriage.

Some prefer slow pacing.

None of that cancels the relationship.

You feeling “single” is more about comparison and the lifestyle around you, not your actual status.

Seeing a guy weekly, dating properly, going to his family events that’s absolutely a boyfriend situation if both of you see each other that way.

It doesn’t work that literally.

Going to a family event doesn’t define a relationship, and skipping one doesn’t erase it.

Some couples bring each other to every family gathering.

Some wait until they’re more established.

Some families are private or complicated.

What makes someone your boyfriend is the mutual agreement not whether you attended one specific event.

To me it does define cuz at all my fmaily parties everyone is with a boyfriend or husband and im alone. 28 years and I still cannot get a boyfriend no one wants marry me no one desires me.

People say im pretty but no one wants commit to me. I only met one guy my entire life that wanted marry me it was a fat nerdy guy but I regret not meet him. I didn’t like him and he had same face as the guy that used me for friends with benefits wasted my time 10 years. They had the same face. I don’t want wake up daily to that face. Bringing me back bad memories.

But now I regret not just try meet once in person and I lost him. Since then I n out found any guy that loves me

I go out alone and all girls r with a boyfriend and they hug eachother tightly if I walk by as they think I want steal her husband. I now hide scared go out. I’m not glowing with a tall man next to me to gossip to, so everyone respect me leave me alone I don’t have that blissful life 😓

And about other couples hugging tighter around you, that’s not about you.

But fear likes to jump to the extreme, and 60 is the extreme.

Life doesn’t move on a timer.

Most people meet their person later than they expected, not earlier.

Wanting a family doesn’t make you desperate.
It makes you human.

And the fact that you want it means you’re not done, you’re still open, still hoping, still capable of building that future.

Just don’t talk to yourself like your timeline is already over.

A relationship is what the two people in it make of it. Plenty of people have long distance relationships. Or you have military families where a spouse is away on deployment for six months or a year. While others see each other daily. To me a relationship is more mental than physical.

As an example, I won't live with someone I'm not married to. I never have. All being a girlfriend or boyfriend means is you're not looking for someone else. I dated with the intention of marriage. Simple as that.

I see sorry about the confusion. A boyfriend is someone u trust and are comfortable with in most situations. Yes and sex may be part of it but it is up to both of them.
