Living in boyfriends house?

I just feel like a homeless person with no adress, he does everything for me and i love him but still i want my own home am i wrong?

I know that moving in with someone seems to be the norm these days. But I told my children, when they moved out that they needed to live alone for at least 6 months to establish they concept that they could stand alone. They both blew me off. My son is 43 and has been in two serious relationships that ended tragically. He is now living with us and has been for a year. My daughter on the other hand moved out shortly after high school against our advise, four years later she saw through the pushers lies and came home. Got married way to quickly, that lasted five years, Divorced for a year, and married again and she made that last for 17 years before she got out of that one. She is now living in an apartment on her own. She has a man friend. but she is living on her own. You need to establish yourself and your ability to handle life on your own before accepting a live-in situation. Never accept being an extension of someone else until you are ready. Don't do it out of necessity or an erroneous opinion that you can't survive on your own. Spread those wings.

Well usually it would be a matter of making the house you both live in your (collective... as in both of yours) house. Even if it started off as "his" house... the ideal situation (for most people) is for it to start to become and feel like your SHARED house.

Maybe contributing more to house-stuff financially will make it feel more like "yours"? (I'm assuming your boyfriend doesn't own his house out-right. Like he's got a mortgage or pays rent and whatnot right).

That being said... if you're just an odd-duck who feels like she wants her own place... then I guess that's fine too. I mean... you'll need to talk about that with your boyfriend... who... might not be all that cool with the idea. It IS definitely 'non-traditional'. But I don't think it's "wrong" or an illegitimate thing for a person to want. (although, I cannot imagine ever feeling that way myself in a relationship)

Of course you’re not wrong. Those are legitimate feelings and you never know. He may appreciate your sentiments even though he has a kind heart.

And couples in our up and downs, at some point you may be helping him out this kind or some kind of major way. I would be proud of you and it would get me “hot”. I’m probably weird but I find it sexy and a turn on.

No you're not wrong. Some people like living alone. But eventually if you to get married, you gonna live in a different house? Most likely not. Experiment in this. You are finding out what's it like living with him. This is what it is going to be like when married.
