After how many days of chatting on a dating app would you actually agree to meet in person?

I personally wouldn’t want to meet anyone online. I can’t judge… some people live in a little town where everyone’s their cousin to some extent or another.

But. You simply don’t know who you’re talking to. Besides…. Most people on dating apps male or female aren’t there for a genuine connection. Half of them are desperate people nobody in real life want. The other half are people either wanting sex, are just there to fluff their ego by getting attention and validation, and playing games.

Some people could be killers. Scammers. Rapists. Anyone…. Even for the men. You could be talking to some dude. Who robs you…. Or looks like a woman but has a penis. Or a real woman with a STD. Or someone who wants to rape and kill you.

I would never be caught dead on one of those hookup sites. That's actually what those dating sites are and everyone that is on one of those sites knows that the primary aim for being on them is to hookup.

You can never know a person well enough to risk your life and health meeting in person. You know that people will never tell all the truth about themselves.

Do you honestly think that this guy you meet online will tell you that he has a criminal record, that he has an addiction of some kind or that he has fathered children somewhere else with another person he met on a hookup site? Of course not and you know it.

But if you are willing to risk your health, then make sure that you know that person inside out and not meet in person before at least one year of chatting online.

If a person is serious enough, they will wait otherwise you know they just want to get into your pants.

It took about 3 to 4 weeks of chatting with my now boyfriend on a dating app before we met up. Granted I was on vacation for one of those weeks so it might have been closer to 2-3 weeks instead, but yeah, it takes me a while to really get used to the idea of meeting.

Fuck man. I would be willing to meet the second I match with someone. I feel like I'm relatively attractive in person, but I'm lucky to get a match. When I do, it never goes more than a few messages.

Id meet up first day in a public place since I don't care.. It's highly unlikely they'd kill me at a coffee date lol It's easier to tell if someone likes you in person than over text..

It's been a long time since I've been on any dating apps.
But, probably when I feel safe/comfortable to do so, and interested enough as well - mutually of course.

I wouldn't have specific rule as to when that is.

I always leave it up to her since women are taking the "risk". And I've had women talk to me for weeks and I've had women type 3 sentences and then want to meet me. They're all over the map in this area.
