White women as whole DO NOT prefer black men. And this is not a slight against black men. Because black women prefer black men. Women generally are ONLY attracted to thier own race. Women are HIGLY judgmental.

Conversely. Black men (or men in general) do not have much of a preference for race. But black men, 79% to be specific, DO marry marry black women. So I'd say it's less that black men prefer black women and more that less white women are an option for them. Same as black women with white men.
