No, there is an urban legend that says that there are many very attractive women who are dateless becuse most guys don't even try because they think they will be shot down.
When I was in high school there was a girl in my homeroom that i thought was the prettiest girl in the school. She really was not one of the popular kids and was not a cheerleader. She did not have a boyfriend as far as I knew. I figured that she was probably going out with college guys. A few years later I met a kid I was in high school with that lived next door from this girl. I asked him if he knew what happened to her. He told me she just stays home most of the time and never goes out.
