Is this an accident or was it on purpose?

So after four months without talking. I had to end it. I was stressed out. I didn’t know where I stood with him, Even when I asked for clarity, I could never get a single straight answer. He always still wanted to see where things go This is that. however, around August I ended it. November I sent a simple “hope all is well message” Because after all, we did have good times and I still really do still care about him. He left me on read. Then in The beginning of this month, I get a call from him while I was on the phone with someone else It rang twice, and then it hung up. he didn’t text to saying it was an accident or anything nor did I ask him either if he called or not.

Do you think this was an accident or on purpose? I mean, he did leave me on read So I’m assuming it was an accident, but I’m not too sure. Because I messaged him on WhatsApp instead of the regular platform on SMS on his phone. But the call was a regular call and not from WhatsApp

And I figure if he is with someone who he has been talking to or seeing for the past four months, I think my number would’ve been dropped all the way down on his call log And the person he’s been seeing or talking to would be most likely to get the accidental phone call. And it’s been a week since he hasn’t reached out or I haven’t
