Growing up with two older sisters and being the youngest of the three, I know you don’t treat romantically a girlfriend/spouse the way you treat a sister. But when it comes to mutual respect, and when they cross that line of respect that’s when you put them both on check. And I believe a brother with older sister only is masculine and is willing to protect when he has to, but is not a macho/sexist, but not a pushover either.

I think guys who grow up with sisters near their age are usually better boyfriends. Guys that grow up with significantly younger siblings usually make good fathers. I don't think I'd be as good of a boyfriend if I am if I didn't have a sister (18 months younger).

We have a little better understanding of women, sure, but there’s a disconnect between how women behave when they want something from you and how they behave when they don’t. Understanding your sisters isn’t going to help you as much as you might think toward better understanding potential mates.

The only things that matter to women about men are looks ( some will f a 900lb guy if he's got $$$) , money (some will f other girls out of curiosity and wanting cash) , power ( you don't see a lot of guys who work at a grocery store with a girlfriend) , their possessions ( you better have a real nice recent model car and a 4-5 bedroom house ) and a high social status ( women who look like models don't date trekkies). If you don't have them you are completely invisible to them. But then again, you better expect to be cheated on if a guy comes along with more and better than you have, and a lot of savings and good paying job to pay for the wedding and divorce, alimony and child support payments and psychiatric therapy to have a professional help you understand that marriage is a waste of time money and sanity. Even the ugly girls who don't go gay are complete stuck up gold digging parasites. Then if you have kids you have to deal with their mental issues from seeing you two fight all the time and her making you out to be the bad one. Then the court automatically takes her side because to them all men are horrible father's and women are all Donna Reed. Even though she's the one with the drinking problem and the one who's cheating on you with your sister your still the bad one. If you're a heterosexual male you're f Ed in today's society.

Porn sites may perhaps tell you that but how reliable are those porn sites really? Right, not reliable at all since all (and I mean EVERY) data and information published there are totally biased.

I don't really think that there is any sustainable information readily available to confirm your statement. As a matter of fact, I personally would think just the opposite as younger children in a family would have been subjected to their older peers and thus, more likely having issues in relationships.

Now that you mention it, most of the weddings I photographed... I feel like the groom had sisters more times than not. definitely happened often enough to be notable.

Not necessarily though I could possibly see there being a correlation. I imagine they'd have a more balanced view on women in general compare to say a guy who knows no other woman than his mother. They probably wouldn't put women on a pedestal because they see from their older sisters that women are just human just like men are.

@BeezyFoCheezzy for example I prefer women (who I'd want to date or have a relationship with) who grew up as an only child, because that way they've not been steered wrongly by either gendered siblings. Without having a selfish ego about themselves either 😈🤭 from having grown up as "said only child."

Depends on their relationship and if they got along or if they were fighting all the time. If they picked on each other they may be used to it and also pick on or fight with their girlfriends.

definitely having a sister makes you more aware of women’s behavior makes it easier to be more attentive. But that would be a sister in general.

I will be missing her. We always have fun over the holidays. What I will miss most is having a girl's night over at her and K's place while I am home.

They did say they would come visit me for a weekend next semester. So, I have that to look forward to.
