I think it is true but everyone is different. I like older men because they are more emotionally security, stable, less manipulative. Younger guys pretend to love me, when all they really want is sex. Older guys who want sex are more up front about it.
Ever met a great guy, who after having sex says he doesn't want anything serious but prior to that he said and did everything right to lead you on, so that you would think he might be the one? He made you think he wanted something serious?
Older men don't do that, they don't play games they get to the point.
It only takes one younger guy to trick a girl before she says never again and moves up the age chain to someone less likely to do that again.

Yes and no I am attracted to older men when it comes to relationships because they are usually more mature and have there shit together. I like to feel looked after and protected in a relationship.
I'm not saying younger men can't be like this too and I have found myself being attracted to guys a little younger to me as well at times because they are more fun and trendy looking but I also think a younger guy wouldn't want the same as me in a relationship and I wouldn't want to push them into something there not ready for yet.

Women prefer security, of any sorts. Be it financial, physical, personal, etc. It is natural for women to want men that are settled in their lives. But the only men, in majority, that can be seen as settled are slightly older. Because of their savings, career/business and all. Natutally, girls/women go there.
Actually there are men/boys who are really really sorted and settled in their early days. But the percentage is very very very low. They are really very difficult to find, it seems. Plus, the question of these boys even wanting to be with girls is also there.
Nowadays, many people are hurt emotionally. And they just want peace. Them alone and their work. Professional settings and life, not included. This question is also there.

But when I was 14, I was talking with a guy in English, I was talking with him to improve my English, we grew close, he told me he was 22 and I found out later he was a 52 years old catfish with a wife and 3 children older than me, he flirted with me though and tried to sext with me, I was too shy and unwilling to sext with him but when I found out his true age, I felt gross about him. I told myself that older men are gross and I would never be attracted to one ever. I felt sorry for his wife, for his children. I just felt really disgusted of him and I guess, I was so affected emotionally by that incident that I believed older men don’t deserve women at all and women should go for younger guys. For me, I and my ex fiancé broke up 8 months ago and I started going out 3 months ago, before then I wasn’t attracted to anyone else but him but I found out that almost all the guys I’ve felt attracted to were under or about the age of 23, the youngest who I felt the chemistry with was 18, the oldest was 26. But I feel like my mind just picks younger guys without me wanting so, I just like a guy and find out he is younger than me.

There's a dynamic between being girlish and womanly, just like between being boyish and manly. Everyone has there balance of those inside of them, and I prefer more womenly traits. I like adult relationships where neither person has to take care of the other. We can just both enjoy each other, and be a team.

It depends on the job and level of education I think. Women who are students or young graduates in their first job tend to prefer men in the same situation and age bracket. This changes at the latest by the age of 35. By then, many go for guys older by about 10 years or even a bit more and it also becomes mch easier to date them as a man. For young women in simple professions this can start earlier.
Its always been true , and I can easily see why , from when I was 16 and lost my girlfriend to a 24 year old school teacher , he was a proper man , I was a little kid , as life went on , so very many examples.
I think it's less about the age itself and more about what they have at that age. Usually an older man will have more things going for them than a younger guy will simply because they have been through more in life. Not all do, but it is pretty common. They usually are interested in the tall, strong, masculine, intelligent older men though, not the weak, balding, incompetent, partying older men. Basically they go for the older men that have good genetics most of the time with good habits. That is one of the benefits for them. Some people mistake me for a minor, so that's treading on thin water with reactions. The most I go is -+2 years preferably. There are plenty of people out there at those ages and we've got around the same amount of experience.

I'll be 29 in a few weeks. I've noticed in the last couple of years I get a lot of attention from girls that are 7 - 10 years younger than me. I'm married so I don't reciprocate, but it's crazy how different it is now than like 5 years ago and earlier. Maybe it's because I wear a ring on my left hand now, I don't know.
As someone who's attracted to older men I would agree with this. Aside from them being attractive to me, they have qualities I haven't seen from someone within my age range.
Yeah I think it's true for a lot / most of us. I have always been most attracted to older guys. When I was 19 I casually dated a guy who was 31. The guy I'm with now is 28. Older guys are more mature and sexier. Not all of them of course.

you only see younger girls doing that. usually they have issues with their family life or need someone to support them. women in their 30's aren't with guys 15-20+ years older than them.
Older are usually a whole lot more able to make their own decisions. Often it's a financial independence thing (which is why some older rich women have younger boyfriends, e. g. Emmanuel Macron)
