I don't like games and if things are not genuine. I don't like romantic gestures after a fight or worse a split up because it takes away attention to what went wrong and needed to be sorted out. I have been known to throw flowers in the bin. It only provoces me. Romantic gesture I like and do too to my partner when there are no issues or when there has not just been one, I want no correlation between romantic gestures and something that went wrong. But for some reason I have received romantic gifts just after and then you feel obligued to say thank you (but I don't want them). (I did not say thank you after a split.)
