I'm not really capable of appreciating the gestures. I mean I cook my own meals for nutritional reasons and I wouldn't expect that to change if I was in a serious relationship. I place no sentimental value on things like little love notes, pictures, or anything like that.
I've had too many sappy love notes written for me by girls who decided only a little while later that they'd rather not have anything to do with me, so I just don't really see anything special about it. Anyone with writing talent can do it.

I love it when girls are like that, nothing beats having a crappy day but then to have your mood lightened by something sweet that is done or said by a loved one. I hate it when girls are totally plank-like when it comes to emotions, its always good to have a girl who does sweet things... it's so lovely
LOL I hope so, because I'm like that too. Especially with cooking and doing random little things, little surprises here and there, going out of my way to show that I pay attention and remember things he likes, etc.
Not too many.
When girls are romantic, it's thought of as being over emotional and clingy. Guys don't like that.

Romantic women are the best! There's nothing in this world that beats coming home after a rough day at work and finding that the woman you love thinks so much of you that she did a little something for you, even just a love note, to show you that she was thinking of you today. Well, maybe a hug, kiss and a "hi babe, I missed you" could top it, but that's about it.
Yes, I do love romantic women. If she makes the effort to show her affection, it's adorable.
It IS the thought that counts, and it truly hits you as you age. I didn't appreciate the little things, but they're what matter the most.
It's not the grand vacations, gifts or gestures - it's the consistent behavior and manner that accumulate affection.Hell yes I do, or at least, I would if I could ever manage to meet one! I figured they didn't exist anymore or something lol "extinct". Definitely not sickening, unless it's done to the point of obsession...
My god woman if I had a girl friend that did that for me I would not let her go, especially if I could read her poetry or play her my violin, maybe she might even inspire me to write her a minueto, wish more girls had those qualities
Frankly I find a woman with a dazzling intellect far more appealing than one with a strong sense of 'romance', whatever that might entail.
Of course we like that. I'd appreciate it a lot. When I make it to the land down under I'd be glad to have a date with you.
Yeah that would be nice...but...if my wife was going to do any of that...would have already have happened...):
Yes, I like all that stuff, and they aren't sickeningly sweet and sappy.
I like to be romantic, but the girls I've come across aren't so receptive of it. :-\
Other than cooking (my last attempt at cooking was a grade IX biohazard), I do all of that too. So yes.
Actually, it depends on the guy. If he is romantic, he will surely appreciate it. :-P
God yes, those are women worth fighting for. Not these masculine "independant" women.
Nothing really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy but I would appreciate it and it would be sweet if you do do it.
I would love to date a girl that's as romantic as me! :)
It is beautiful and sweet. I know I would like that.
Oh yeah, that's awesome. If someone doesn't appreciate you for that, he's not worth you're time.
I pretend to like it (to make her happy), but I don't really care about small romantic things ;)
Some men do. Not a whole lot at your age though.
YES!
Who would not like that?yea I would. But then again I'm a sap
