Yes but my idea of romantic guy isn't a guy buying me stuff it's saying sweet things going that extra mile when he knows I'm at work and coming to see me. Or him putting thought in a date it could be as simple as a movie date at his place or him doing something thoughtful like helping me out cleaning. It's romantic too if he wants to buy things but it's not what I think of as romance even him sending me a text when I've had a shitty day.
