Yes, I prefer those not so romantic.
While she's part of my life, she's not all of my life. What you described is almost a person that is untrusting and controlling. She would be too intrusive for me.
My SO is nothing like you described as romantic not am I. We are very happy with each other. We care dearly about each other and have true love without being"clingy."
