I matched with this guy on a dating app a few days ago. We hit it off well chat wise so far, so we want to meet up preferably the upcoming weekend for low stakes coffee at a cafe. Only thing is: since about a week i have a severe stress induced eczema outbreak on my hands. I have had that before and I know how to treat it and calm it down, but its a pretty severe outbreak this time. Its on 2 fingers of my left hand and 3 on my left. All are very big open wounds that look yellow, crusty and are weeping (yellow) pus. I went to the doctors already to get it treated and if I have to go to work I tape my hands and work normal at the office. But this outbreak will not be healed by the weekend, will likely take 2 or more weeks minimum. What should I do? Just tell him "hey, would love to see you too but the eczema on my hand might turn you off so either we plan a date soon or wait a few weeks". I really do like him, but also dont want to over invest time in texting somebody for weeks who might not match with me in real life. But i also feel like it might come across as flakey as hell or suss. Like what else could be wrong with me or different from my pictures (because ofcourse my pictures are eczema free).
We are both in our late twenties, I have not really dated much recently. Came out of a relationship of 6 years in March last year, so its all a bit new again for me the dating stages.
