I have a question for you. I have this colleague at work who lives with a man but is having problems with him. Over the past few months, she and I have become very close. We like each other, but she is faithful and afraid, so she sends signals and then feels guilty and withdraws. We talk a lot, etc., but one day, shortly after I asked her out and she obviously didn't reply, she started telling me that she had met a guy on a course she was doing. She told me that this guy is gorgeous, has no physical flaws, is perfect, is the same age as me and that he didn't pay any attention to her, but she noticed how handsome he was and stared at him. Obviously, since she lives with her partner, she couldn't make a move! Now she knows that I like her, I know she likes me a lot and she literally told me in the past that she dreamed of marrying me and things like that, now out of nowhere she talks to me about this guy insistently until my patience ran out and I told her to stop. Since then, she has never mentioned him again. My question is, girls, why would you behave like this? You've never mentioned anything like this before, and now suddenly this perfect, gorgeous chap of my own age appears, but she's living with someone else, etc. Is it a shit test? A true story? A way to keep me away? I don't understand.

Well she probably trusted you enough to tell you this, because let’s be honest it’s definitely not something she would tell the entire world considering she’s in a monogamous relationship and living with a partner.
